Splurge Gun Hire

Plunge now own a large stock of Bugsy Malone style Splurge Guns which are available to hire.

For those of you who haven’t seen the movie, it is a gangster musical with kids playing all the characters. Some might consider that odd, but trust us, it’s a great film.  One of the fabulous things in it is the gun fights. Instead of normal guns with bullets, the lads and lasses wield splurge guns which shoot custard pie foam.

Here at Plunge, we loved those guns so much over the years that we decided to design our own simple splurge gun that takes a can of theatrical cream foam. We then also built crates for them, similar to the ones in the film.  These were such a hit that we now hire them out.

We also supply cans of ‘splurge’. This is a non toxic, non-staining white foam which disintegrates to almost nothing after a few minutes. It washes out of clothes though some dry cleaning chemicals do not remove it and items need to be hand rinsed in luke warm water. Do not spray directly into eyes as it stings. Cans of ‘Splurge’ are £3.00 each. They deliver just over 30 seconds of splurge and spray about 2-3m.

The guns can also be supplied with a ‘SPLURGE INC’ wooden packing crate for an additional £20 per week. The crates come in a couple of sizes, with the smallest fitting 6 guns easily but if you’re very cunning you can fit 8 in.
