Yet another gorgeous chocolate creation. This roast dinner is every chocoholics dream come true.
In the run up to Easter, Aldi commissioned Plunge to create a full roast dinner with all the trimmings (including table, chairs, cutlery and plates) out of chocolate. The thinking behind this Easter feast is, as Aldi’s Joint Managing Director of Corporate Buying, Tony Baines said, “This Easter, at Aldi, customers can feed a family of four a roast lunch for a mere £3.80 per head – cheaper than a single luxury Easter egg in most UK supermarkets.”
A big thank you is owed to Jen Lindsey Clark at Chocolatician who came in to work alongside the Plunge team and oversee the chocolate side of the production.
The whole tasty chocolate sculpture took three weeks to create and over 50kg of Aldi’s best chocolate.
Here’s is a behind the scenes video filmed here at the Plunge workshop
Hmmm, I wonder if this chocolate sculpture will be the final test for my chocolate eating tolerance levels… Doubt it.
