There’s a new kind of supermarket in Waterloo and we’ve been making it easier for you to find your way around.
Greensmiths is a local supermarket with a real difference – a butcher’s, a baker’s, a greengrocer’s, a coffee specialist and a wine merchant’s – as well as all the other daily food needs you would expect to find in a supermarket. And there is a kitchen there preparing food only from fresh ingredients in the store to eat in the cafe or take away.
We have been making the in-store signage Some of it has been some smart and simple vinyl signage but in order to mark out the different businesses Chris Smith wanted something a little special.
After some initial tests and the odd teething trouble we produced some aluminium-faced oak panels from which we cut the concessions logos using Furnace’s CNC machine. We team up with Furnace (also based at Workhaus) from time to time when we require their industrial design expertise or their CNC skills. For more info about Furnace go to www.furnacecnc.co.uk.
The result was a very smart set of signs.
