About Plunge Productions – a history

Formed in 2000 Plunge began life as a theatre production company, producing shows in various cities in the UK.

Originally based in Birmingham we moved to London in 2003 to try to crack the West End theatre scene. After a few years of trying and despite a number of critically acclaimed productions including Honk and Joe and I we decided to concentrate our efforts into the creative services we were also offering.

This change in emphasis away from theatre production has since proved a great success and since moving the business to just outside Brighton we have been able to set up a successful studio and workshop within the Workhaus mews complex in Hove. This allows us to collaborate with a number of other businesses within Workhaus to offer an ever greater variety of services.

Tim Simpson, director of the company, has worked with Plunge since the beginning and became company director in 2004.
