As Managing Director of Plunge, Tim relocated the business from London to Brighton in a move which has seen the business grow from a small prop making company in to a serious provider of creative services.  Born and schooled in Canterbury, he got his first tastes of theatre production through involvement with school plays and working at the Marlowe Theatre.

Though he went to The University in Newcastle Upon Tyne to study Zoology, the theatre rather distracted him and he spent an increasing amount of time working with a large number of productions at Newcastle Playhouse and The Live Theatre. During this time he was first contacted by Plunge Productions who were producing Into The Woods at the Edinburgh Fringe. He designed and made the costumes for the production and the relationship was started.

Tim’s move to London coincided with a similar move for Plunge and soon they were to work together again on Honk. At the time Tim was working as an Art Director at an event production company in North London. Despite his full time commitments he still managed to design and oversee the set building for Plunge’s UK premier of Honk.

In 2004 the directors of Plunge offered the chance for Tim to help build the company as a director, allowing Plunge to start to offer theatre and event production services alongside their theatre producing and management skills.

A creative all rounder, Tim is equally at home at the computer, designing and visualising project or in the workshop where he does his best to pass on his skills and experience to Plunge’s staff and freelancers.
